He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Vonetta Jeannie; his parents, James Bilben and Margaret Matilda; his children, Mark, Karen, Dianna and Alison; and his siblings, Rolly, Charles and Dorothy. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
