He was predeceased by : his parents, Hugh McQuade and Alice McQuade; and his sister Jane. He is survived by : his former life partner Janice Eliason; his children, Michael (Sarah) and Serena (Dama); his friend Mal Finlayson; his sister Lissy; his wife Kathy Horne; his stepsons, Devon and Kyle; his grandchildren, Ethan and Sienna; his siblings, Margaret (Earl), Bob (Pat) and Christina (Paul); and his nieces and nephews, Kyle (Angela) and Devon (Amy).
