He is survived by: his children, Daniel (Kay) and Elise (Jeff); his grandchildren, Charli, Kamora and Tristan; his wife Blanca Botero; his mother Cecilia; his siblings, Humberto, Maria Eugenia, Gloria Elena of Bogota and Colombia; and his mother-in-law Teresa Fuentes of Black Diamond, AB.. He is also survived by his grandchildren, his dogs, cats.
