In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Barrie had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Barrie may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peggie Griffiths and John Henry Griffiths. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Mark and Clare; and his grandchildren, Renee Leclerc, Ethan Leclerc and Violet Griffiths.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Anglican Church (2828 19 St NW, Calgary, AB T2M3V8).
In lieu of flowers, guests are invited to bring a decorated rock to place in the church garden, in honour of Barrie's love for this special place.
