He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Pankiw and Mary Pankiw; and his brother Jerry Pankiw. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne; his children, Marcus, Amanda (Chris) and Tammy (Carlos); his grandsons, Weston, Asher, Hudson, Caius and Vale; his brother Rob (Beatta); his godson Sean; and his sisters-in-law, Sharon Pankiw, Rita Pankiw, Judy Ker, Carol Deluca and Beverly Jeske (Rick). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering was held on Wednesday, February 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Foster's Garden Chapel (3220 4 St NW, Calgary, AB T2M2P9).
