He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Sangeeta; his son-in-law Varinder Nayar; his son Deepak; his daughter-in-law Rekha; his son Chander Mohan; and his daughter-in-law Sonia Dhawan. He was also cherished by four great grandchildren.
