She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Thomas McLaughlin and Lillian McLaughlin; her sister Nancy; her stepchildren, Barbara Schreiner Trudel (Pierre), Shelly Robock, Perry Schreiner (Lisa) and Darlene Hill (Scott); her husband Vic; her son-in-law Rick Sullivan; her brother Claude (Elva McLaughlin); and also, Barbara, Shelly, Perry and Darlene. She was also cherished by thirteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Breast Cancer Society of Canada and or the Alzheimer's Canada.
