He is survived by: his spouse Adele Kubke; his children, Bernd, Siegrid (David), Roland (Karen), Dorothy (Brian), Karen (Thomas) and Opi; his grandchildren, Megan, Caitlin, Lukas, Kevin, Naomi, Willem, Katherine, Marion, Anthony, Miriam, Jakob, Ethan and Benjamin; his great grandchildren, Stevie and Caleb; and his brothers, Eduard (Linda) and Hermann.
