Bette Woofter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 14, 2023, at the age of 97, Bette Woofter of Calgary, Alberta passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Allen and Albert Allen; and her siblings, June Rothwell, Billy and Doug (Bland Matthew Woofter).
She is survived by: her spouse Bland; her children, Mark (Leslie), Mary Lynn (Bill), Matt (Denise), Michael (Karen), Marcia (Dennis) and Miles (Carolyn); her grandchildren, Liam (Gillian), Reed (Bailey), Brooke (Devon), Sara (Rohan), Kyra, Danny (Alanna), Lachie, Clara, Myles, Matthew, Rachaelle, Rebecca, Phoebe, Claire and Davis; and also, Rory, Teagan, Nolan, Blake, Rose, Elise, Arjun, Riya, Hallie and June. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews from her extended family.
Their continuing kindness, attention, and support for our mother through the COVID-19 pandemic and the various other health concerns through to her final days was amazing.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice or Cystic Fibrosis Canada is preferred.
