He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Hromadiuk and Michael Hromadiuk. He is survived by: his siblings, John Hromadiuk and Rose Hromadiuk; and his nephew Mike Hromadiuk.

Bob spent all of his time at the university and library, deep in research and surrounded by books, until COVID prevented him from continuing his passion.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests donating to the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church in his name.
