She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Montgomery and Muriel Montgomery; and her sister Nancy. She is survived by: her daughter Sabrina Obasi; her siblings, Faye and Wayne Montgomery; her son-in-law Edmund Obasi; her grandchildren, Justice, Noble, Troy, Phoenix Obasi, Destiny and Faith Obasi; and her nephews, Clark Baker and Kyle Montgomery.

At the peak of Covid Pandemic in August 2021, Bonnie relocated to a beautiful spacious condo that brought so much joy and happiness to her.
