She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius Andrew Borrie and Euphemia; her husband Ronald Purdy; her siblings, Cornelius Ward Borrie, Stella Borrie (Des) and Alice (Hank Grabarz); and her granddaughter Kelly Dawn.
She is survived by: her children, Greg and Tenley (Barry Kelly); her grandchildren, Alison, Tina (Paul Wardlaw), Adam (Millie Dayaram), Alex (Carly Vienneau) and Andrew (Drew); her great grandchildren, Isabelle and Tobias; and her close friends, Carole Stone, Andrea Douglas, Loraine Smith, Joan Burrows and Mary Roughley. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to Sharon Hope United Church, Sharon Ontario or Southlake Regional Hospital, Newmarket.
