He was predeceased by: his parents, Statie Templeman (Stagg) and Clarence Templeman; and his siblings, Melita and Arthur (Art). He is survived by: his wife Audrey (Starkes); his children, Rick (Stephanie Mehalko), Blair, Scott and Nicolle (Bill Ryan); his grandchildren, Brooke (Stefan Gabris), Alexia (Andrew Parsons), Kelsey Templeman, Jorja, Aidan, Keira and Kaelan Ryan; and his great grandchildren, Jack, Liam Gabris and Enzo Parsons. He is also survived by numerous sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mountain View Funeral Home (Prairie View Chapel) (1605 100 St SE, Calgary, AB T2P2G7). A burial was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 3:15 PM to 3:30 PM at the Mountain View Cemetery (1605 100 St SE, Calgary, AB T2P2G7). A reception was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Mountain View Funeral Home (Prairie View Lounge) (1605 100 St SE, Calgary, AB T2P2G7).
