She was predeceased by: her parents, Huang Lin Sheng and Yang Chiao Yun; and her brother Tien Chok. She is survived by: her former husband Stephen Anthony Liao; her daughters, Christine Annabel, Katherine Angela (Jeffrey) and Mary Elizabeth (Henry); her husband Bryan Keith Gooding; her son Jason Kyle (Andrea); her siblings, Yang Fei, Yang Ha, Yang Fong, Yang Fung, Tien Chein and Tien Wei; and her grandchildren, Dominic Martin, Gabriele Marie, Alexander Luc and Everett Jacob Bramwell.

The City of Calgary Vaccine Passport Bylaw 65M2021 requires all individuals attending funeral services to provide COVID-19, QR Code, or proof of a privately-paid negative test result taken within 72 hours of service, or an original signed letter of medical exemption with personal identification.
