He is survived by: his pet Easton; his sons, Murray Melin (Christina Cornacchia) and Doug Melin (Wanda Drysdale-Melin) of Calgary; his grandchildren, Savanah Melin of Airdrie and Austyn Melin of Calgary; and his niece Cileen Getz (Barry).
