He is survived by: his wife Manjit Kaur Cheema; his children, Kanwaljit Bhagal, Satinder Sohi Mrs, Sandeep Cheema and Jagjit Singh Cheema; his daughter-in-law Pawandeep Cheema; his grandchild Anmol Singh Bhagal Aamol; and his siblings, Jagdish Kaur Dhaliwal and Ajit Singh Cheema Ranjit. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
