Blair Smithson wrote a sympathy message

“My condolences to Darlene's family. It was always a pleasure working with Darlene on the Canyon Creek Board, and I enjoyed getting to know her. Darlene brought wisdom and common sense, and was a valuable member of our team. Her contributions, smile, and hospitality will be remembered. She will be missed terribly.”
