He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Paul Proust, Agnes Proust, Marge Hostland, Jack Hostland, Uncle Raymond and Aunt Dolores; Russell Phillips, Uncle Glen Proust, Denny Romyn, Garth Ziegler and Rambo.
He is survived by: his parents, Penny (Ernie) and Daniel; his wife Jennie; his stepson McKoy (Haley); his brothers, Dean and Tyler; Aunts and Uncles.
Funeral Services for a Celebration of Darryl's life will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home, (Prairie View Chapel, 1605 – 100 Street SE, Calgary) on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. if friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to the Alberta Heart & Stroke Foundation #200, 119 – 14 Street NW, Calgary, AB T2N 1Z6 403-270-3549.
