He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Mary Dover; his stepson Drew Peacock; his children, John Dover, Janice Fuller, Carolyn Dover, Clair MacGougan and Julia Dover; his grandparent A. E. Cross; and also, John Cross, CorryAnn Struik and Hiromi Suzuki.
David was the chair of the Board of Governors at Strathcona Tweedsmuir School and was one of the founding directors of the Foundation. For those who may be inclined, the family is requesting that donations to the school be made in David's name.
