He is survived by: his wife Arlyne (Harvie); his children, Lisa and Jeffrey (Jenny); his grandchildren, Alexis (Joey), Maddison, Jessica, Brogan and Lucy; and his siblings, Peter (Christine), Judy (Ray) and Micheal (Michele). He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a memorial service to celebrate the life of David will be at the All Saints Anglican Church, in Cochrane, Alberta, at a later date to be confirmed.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of David to a charity of ones choice.
