He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Smith and Lucille Smith; his sister Pat Martin; and his brother-in-law Marvin Johnson. He is survived by: his siblings, Tom Attwood (Louise), John Attwood (Brenda), Greg Smith (Bellindah), Lynn Johnson and Deb Bronson; and his brother-in-law Bill Martin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, cousins, and friends.
Additional memorial trees will be planted through Canadian conservation and reforestation initiatives, as a result of memorial contributions.
