Dean Richard McKerness Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 17, 2020, Dean Richard McKerness (Calgary, Alberta), born in Montréal, Québec passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth McKerness and John McKerness; his brothers, Danny, Doug and John McKerness; and his mother-in-law Marjory Coates (Andre Cloutier).

He is survived by: his wife Aileen of Calgary, AB; his children, Lindsay McKerness (Troy Milledge), Courtney Whatmore (Clayton) and Mathew McKerness (Lily); his granddaughter Madelyn Marjory Whatmore; his siblings, Dane McKerness (Michelle) and Diane Fletcher (Clifford); and his siblings-in-law, Randy Coates (Rose), Vicki Coates (Peter Karolyi), Janice Nadeau (Raymond) and Sherry Hobbs (Danny). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
