With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Domenico Buonincontri (Calgary, Alberta), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raffaele Buonincontri and Giuseppina Buonincontri; and his pet Gioia. He is survived by: his significant other Sonia Iervella; his daughters, Josie Buonincontri and Ava Rose Buonincontri; his grandchildren, Nevaeh and Nova; his sister Filomena Sodano (Vince); and his in-laws, Anna and Gabriel Iervella. He is also survived by siblings-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
Viewing was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Evan J. Strong Funeral Services North (3625 12 St NE, Calgary, AB T2E6P4). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (640 19 Avenue NW, Calgary, AB T2M0Y8).
