He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Claire Cosgrove and Dorothy Cosgrove; his wife Marilyn; his children, Kelly Dalton (Doug) and Sean Cosgrove (Karin); his grandchildren, Ethan, Avery Dalton, David (Nikol), Daniel, Natalie and Emmalie Cosgrove; his sister Lynne Tovell; and his pet Eddie. He was also cherished by cousins; numerous friends.
