Donald Shannon Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Shannon (Calgary, Alberta), who passed away on December 23, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Jessie; his daughter Beverley; his son-in-law Bob Affie; his grandson Gary Shannon; his siblings, I. W. Shannon (Bobbie), Dorothy Young and Evelyn Agnew; and his parents, William H. Shannon and Grace Clarke.

He is survived by: his children, Donna (Lawrence), Bob (Nola), Donald and Richard (Sandra). He is also survived by his fifteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Due to the ongoing pandemic a Private graveside service will be held at Mountain View Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to the Calgary Health Foundation – Carewest.
