She was predeceased by: her husbands, Barry Applegate and Arthur Longair; and her siblings, George Tkachuk (Marlene) of MacNutt, Gordon Tkachuk (Silvia) of Vancouver, Rose McBride (Fay) of Crossfield and Mary Ann Townsend of Calgary.

She is survived by: her grandson Cole (Selina); her great grandchild Elijah of Calgary; her sons, Andrew (Brent) and Applegate (Sonia) of Cranbrook, BC; her grandchildren, Michael (Katherine), John and Eliza of Colorado Springs, Colorado.; her brother Lorne Tkachuk of MacNutt; and her sibling's children, Robert Tkachuk, Colin Tkachuk and Lynnette.
