With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Duane Lloyd Poulton (Calgary, Alberta), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 24, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd and Irene; and his sisters, Jackie and Linda. He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his sister Sandy; his children, Andrea and Christopher (Sherrilynn); his stepchildren, Sonya (Corby), Tanya (Jason), Roxanne (Mark) and Jake (Kim); and his friends, Turner (Debbie), Jim (Carol), Bob (Rose) and Jack (Marion). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.

“I met Duane in the early seventies through work. We became close friends as we shared many of the same interests such as fastball, hunting, fishing, canoeing, golfing and wine making. He helped me move a playhouse from Calgary to Edmonton.. I helped him build his garage in Calgary. I'll miss his stories, his great sense of humor and breakfasts at Denny's. Rest in peace my friend.”
