He is survived by: his siblings, Jim and Pat; his wife Helen; and his children, Duncan (Lis), Dan (Denise), Nancy Bonter (Dave) and Stan. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Due to the pandemic, it was difficult to have visitors, but thankfully he was able to meet his great-grandson outside this past fall.
