It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Butkiewicz (Calgary, Alberta), born in Rimbey, Alberta, who passed away on January 12, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Pete Butkiewicz; and her grandchildren, Collan Kohalyk and Kamber Lindenbach. She is survived by: her children, Irene Kohalyk of Golden, B. C., Bernie (Elaine) of Exshaw, AB, Lucy Smith (Brian) of Cody and Wyoming; her grandchildren, Petra, Connie, Karlene, Bryce, Janelle, Weston and Jolayne; her great grandchildren, Brandon, Kendra, Taya, Tyson, Kyler, Chloe, Cheyenne, Aaron, Mataya and Janae; and her sister Alice Paetkau (Henry, family: Fred, Doreen Broska).
