She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernie McKay and Laura McKay; her husband Doc; and her siblings, Jim (Ann), Gene (Florence), Denny (Lena) and Myrna (Gary).

She is survived by: her children, Pat (Lana), Ron, Maureen and Judy (Randy); her grandchildren, Cathy, Pat, Dwayne, Melody, Denise, Shauna, Blair, Nathan, Eric, Jenny and Cassi; her siblings, Wilma (Norm) and Larry (Marg); and her sister-in-law Florence. She is also survived by her many great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edith's memory to Alzhiemer Society of Alberta.
