She is survived by: her significant other George Assad; her stepchildren, Gillian (Jason) and Andrew (Simone); her grandchildren, Maya, Lola, Alyson, Luca, Coco and Hugo; her siblings, Joyce (Paul), Florence (Don), Cliff (Robbi) and Cindy Watt; and her siblings' children, Denise, Brian, Wayne, Karen, Taris, Jason and Chris Brown (Sylvie).

In lieu of flowers, donations should be made in her memory to the local SPCA or Food Bank.
