He was predeceased by: his brother Philip; and his parents, Gordon Arendt and Dorothy Arendt (Kokott). He is survived by: his wife Marillyn Arendt (Varley); his daughters, Erica Murphy (Ciaran) and Amanda Donovan (Michael); his grandchildren, Dubhlainn and Aiobhe; his siblings, Donald (Lynda), Allan (Angela) and Anne; and his sister-in-law Marilyn. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Eden Brook Funeral Home (24223 Township Rd 242, Calgary, AB T3Z 3K2).
