He was predeceased by: his former wife Concetta Giammarino; his wife Pat; his parents, John and Mary; and his siblings, Andrew, Ted, Ron, Victoria and Jeannette.
He is survived by: his children, Beth Mitchell (Glenn) of Sundre, AB, Mary Pat Senger (Gates Aurigemma) of Calgary and Dave Senger (Lori Ann) of Ottawa, ON; his grandsons, Justin Mitchell (Ashley) of Olds, AB, Bryn Mitchell (Anna) of Nelson, BC, Levi Mitchell of Gatineau, QC, Matteo and Giorgio Aurigemma of Calgary, AB; his great grandchild Theo Mitchell of Olds, AB.; and his siblings, Tony, Eric (Stephanie) of Edmonton, AB, Celina Girard of North Vancouver, BC and Dolores Maksymetz (Russ) of Abbotsford, BC. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
