He is survived by: his children, Denny (Shelly), Lise (Brian), Dale (Michelle) and David Hamilton (Laura); his grandchildren, Max (Sheridan), Luke, Brittany Forbes (Jordan), Erika Henkel (Justin), Robyn Godfrey (Jesi), Lauren Godfrey, Anna Godfrey, Josh (Vanessa), Alex Mills (John), Shayla Friesen and Ashlyn Hamilton; his great grandchildren, Brody Mills, Graham Mills, Stella Forbes and Jack Forbes; his cousin Charlie Watson; his sister-in-law Bev Roney; and his daughter-in-law Deb Wiens. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
