He was predeceased by: his son Blaine (Sandy); and his siblings, Horst, Gernot and Gertrude. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his son Trevor (Renae); his granddaughters, Wynter, Esmae and Maeve; his son Ryan (Jessica); his brother Ray; and his stepchildren, Gordon and Tammy. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
