He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Oric John Elder and Adola Maude Brunker; his children, Cathy Spackman (Dale), David (Martina) and Debra Klassen (Steve); his grandchildren, Bill (Jen), Jacquie Spackman (Phil Gardner), Michael (Jill Tymko) and Jennifer Elder; his great grandchildren, Abigail and Ellie Spackman; his stepdaughters, Kayla Zeck (Brent Rosteski) and Brittany Craig (Brad); and his stepgrandchildren, Noah Rosteski, Nolan Zeck and Avery Craig. He was also cherished by children, grandchildren and great grandchildren could not be more proud of him and inspired by his unwavering interest and support of their pursuits and accomplishments, positive attitude, his zest for life, and his continuing connection with extended family and friends.
