He was predeceased by: his parents, Ada Maud and Herbert Leslie Godfrey (England); his wife Carlie-Jean; and his daughter Deborah Schijns. He is survived by: his children, Allison Bobenic (Bill), Sandra Smith (Clive) and Matthew (Susan); his grandchildren, Alex (Erika), Josh (Nicki), Zach (Betty), Caroline, Bryna, Laurel (Alex), Lexa, Maclean, Harrison, Josephine, Wesley and Grayson; his great grandchildren, Orlando, Blair, Bea, Parker, Callum, Ella and Brielle; and his sisters-in-law, Barb and Shaune. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Summit View United Church (3303 Capitol Hill Crescent NW, Calgary, AB T2M2R2).
