He was predeceased by: his parent AB; and his son Arnie. He is survived by: his wife Olga; his children, Brenda (Dan), Joshua and Lorne (Lesley-An); his grandchildren, Dixon (Summer), Spencer (Mikayla) and Morgan (Jason); and his sister Erna. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Foster's Garden Chapel (3220 4 St NW, Calgary, AB T2M2P9). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Heimdal Cemetery (24041 Township Rd 490, Rolly View, AB T4X2P2). A burial was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at the same location.
