She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Heyde and Ida Heyde; and her brother Ron Heyde. She is survived by: her children, Doug Bekker of Calgary, Ken Bekker (Cindy) of Vancouver and Joanne Gilson (Brent) of Medicine Hat; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Jessica, Joe, Kristina, Michelle and Julia; and her sisters, Leona Kasdorf and Wanda Neufeld. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
