Elvira Neufeldt Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elvira Neufeldt (Calgary, Alberta), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 23, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Elvira leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She was predeceased by: her parents, David Goertzen and Katharina Goertzen. She is survived by: her husband Ron; her children, Brad Neufeldt and Patty Neufeldt; her son-in-law Mark Bartel; her grandson Julian Bartel; and her siblings, John Goertzen and Erna Warkentin.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Mennonite Central Committee (MCC).
