With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emanuel Marakis of Calgary, Alberta, who passed away on April 20, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Toula (Dimitra); his children, Steve Marakis (Rachel) and Maria Karvouniaris (Kosta); and his grandchildren, Dennis, Demi, Alex and Grace. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.

His wisdom and guidance were the foundation of his family, and his humorous nature was a core piece of his personality.
