She was predeceased by: her husband William Schmidt. She is survived by: her children, Garry (Susan), Manfred (Angela), David (Sonia) and Dorothy; her grandchildren, Michael, Thomas (May), Matthew, Benjamin, Tobias, Lukas, Eva, Joshua and Hayley; her siblings, Al Wedel (Renate) and Agatha Ruff (Germany); and her son William.
