Evangelia Giannakos Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evangelia Giannakos (Calgary, Alberta), who passed away on January 31, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Evangelia Giannakos to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her son Mark; her siblings, Anna, Irene, Maria and Christodoulos of Greece; her parents, Mark Sigalas and Margarita Sigalas; and her husband Peter Giannakos.

She is survived by: her children, John, Margarita Tabaka (Mike), Theodora Thurston (Del) and Georgia Leimert (Gary); her brother Christopher Sigalas (Evangelia); her grandchildren, John, Maria, Kristina, Angie and Louise; and her great grandchildren, Matteo and Alasdair. She is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
