He was predeceased by: his siblings, Forbes, Keith, Charlie, Glen, Dwayne, Lyle, Earl, Jean and Phyllis; and his grandson Taarak.

He is survived by: his wife Mae; his children, Greg, Brent Diane (George) and Heather; his grandchildren, Pam (Jason), Brad (Jen), Che, Brandon and Chad; his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Hunter, Reece and Peyton; and his sisters, Shirley, Darlene, Mollie (Gordon), Marlene and Heather. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to the CNIB Foundation or charity of choice.
