She was predeceased by: her former husband Allan Alford; her parents, Emil Puffalt and Mary Puffalt; her siblings, Emma, Albert, Martha, Edwin and Victor; and her stepdaughter Julie McDermit (Dale).

She is survived by: her husband Roy; her daughters, Sandi Chamberlain (Greg) and Shelley Lapp (Doug); her brother Gordon Puffalt (Ilona); her stepchildren, Sherrie Gullacher (Dave), Dale Lonseth (Darlene) and Linda Lonseth; her son-in-law Dale McDermit; and her grandchildren, Raquel, Meagan Chamberlain, Evan, Erin Lapp, Annah Gullacher, Chelsea Nadiger (Kyle), Nathan Gullacher, Eric, Scott, Andrew, Christopher Lonseth, John and Robert McDermit.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to the Tom Baker Cancer Centre or Care West Sarcee.
