He is survived by: his wife Danuta Montandon of Calgary, AB; his children, Nicolas and Gabriella; his stepson Martin Zardecki; his grandchildren, Nella, Benjamin, Alexa and Anna; his stepgrandchildren, Natalie and Jeremy; and his niece Annick.
