He was predeceased by: his wife Donna; his parents, Henry and Elsie; and his brother Gordon. He is survived by: his children, Carrie (Glen), Barb (Lou), Jay, Garry (Anna Maria), Gordon and Amanda (Doug); his grandchildren, Bry-Ann, Jon, Garret, Chelsea, Amanda, Sebastian and Jaxon; his great grandchildren, Zenna and Kaleb; and his niece Alberta.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date due to the COVID 19 pandemic.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Agapé Hospice in Calgary whose staff cared for him in his last days with warmth and compassion.
