George Kwan Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 6, 2024, at the age of 91, George Kwan in Calgary, Alberta passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by : his wife Liu Hung Kwan; his sons, Edward Kwan and William Kwan; and his grandchildren, Matthew Kwan, James Kwan, Esther Kwan and Elizabeth Kwan.

He was born into a prominent family, and his family history is a microcosm of the modern history of the Chinese nation; he has set many records for the Chinese people in Canada, and his outstanding contributions to Canada and the local Chinese community are obvious to all.
