He was predeceased by: his parents, George Oster and Mary Oster; and his brother-in-law Don Slader. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Georgina Tucker of Calgary, Marilyn Peters (Garry) of Cornwall and Dale Oster of Calgary; his stepchildren, Bob Young (Lisa) of Omaha and Mona Vogel (Harry) of Calgary; his sisters, Fran of Moose Jaw and Margaret (Doug) of Kelowna; and his friend Ron Waltz. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
