He was predeceased by: his wife Sheila; his parents, Bessie and Harold; and his brothers, Dobby and Wayne.
He is survived by: his sister Audrey; his children, Jay Bissell (Karen) and Sharon Reinhart (Ken); his grandchildren, Jennifer (Brad), Royal and Jocelyn (Andrew); and his great grandchildren, Kaiden and Aria.
